hui, war das ein fest. als fest stand, dass the exploding boy im rahmen der letzten INTERZONE party auftreten werden, habe ich mich sehr gefreut. die 4 schweden sind mir und meiner frau seit unser ersten gemeinsamen zusammenarbeit im april 2009 sehr ans herz gewachsen. eine vorband wurde dann auch noch schnell gefunden und mit insgesamt 4 djs stand ein sehr vielseiotiges programm in den startlöchern. mit dj moonrael habe ich eine der besten INTERZONE partys in diesem jahr veranstaltet und wünsche ihm auf diesem wege viel glück für sein eigenes party-projekt im elf². siehe dort: http://www.myspace.com/unknownpleasures_hb

mit dj ‘m’ habe ich sowieso viele schöne abende als dj oder veranstalter verlebt und somit genoss ich den vorerst letzten abend mit ihm. und mit dj necrophil aus berlin wollte ich der letzten party auch was neues gönnen. leider war der remembrance daze dj doch anderweitig beruflich eingebunden an diesem wochenende und konnte nicht kommen.

die party hat mir nochmal sehr viel freude bereitet auch wenn ich mich ärgere, dass ich meine musikalischen ziele nicht ansatzweise umsetzten konnte.

die konzerte vorweg waren sehr vielfältig. some velvet morning gaben ihren ersten auftritt in bremen und boten düstere akkustik musik auf gitarrenbasis. leicht (neo)folkig, leich country, leicht indie aber immer melancholisch.

anschließend folgte das 4. konzert von the exploding boy, dass ich dieses jahr sehen durfte. und es war das beste. der sound war klasse (dank an mimo!!), die jungs waren super drauf, gaben sich locker lässig auf der bühne und teilweise gabs variationen in die synthie-parts. also ein sehr ansprechendes konzert.

mit großer freude darf ich ankündigen, dass ich wieder einmal die schwedische indie-goth-pop band the exploding boy im elf² präsentieren darf!
nach dem tollen konzert im april ist der kontakt bestehen geblieben und nun sind die 4 stockholmer wieder auf deutschland tour und spielen wieder in bremen.

dieses konzert rundet das programm dieser party weiter ab.
